The LoveLee Mama with her kids

Hey loves, I’m Amber – The LoveLee Mama!

I’m a wife, mother, homemaker, and homeschooling mom with a passion for faith-filled living and simple joys. I’m sure you’re wanting to know more about who “The LoveLee Mama” is and I’d love to tell you more.

In today’s world, moms are overwhelmed, exhausted and drenched in chaos. We’re some form of confused pigeon with ducklings scattered around us. They’re falling off ledges, trying to learn to swim and sometimes they overwhelm us until we’re sinking. Most days moms are just trying to survive on a day-to-day basis. But, I’m here to flip the script and help moms find a new perspective on motherhood.

A perspective of joy, hope and peace. It all comes from Jesus.

Cultivating a Faith-Filled Home & Heart

If you’ve ever longed for a slower, more intentional life—one rooted in Christ, filled with love, and overflowing with grace—you’re in the right place.
This blog is where I share my journey—the joys, the struggles, the lessons learned—as I seek to honor God in my home and family. Whether you’re a fellow homeschooler, a new homemaker, or someone looking for encouragement in your walk with Christ, I pray this space blesses and uplifts you.

About My Story

I haven’t always been living this intentional life, surprisingly to some people who’ve met me. I once believed that success meant doing more, achieving more, and always striving for perfection. But in the midst of that rush, I felt exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from what truly mattered. I found myself drowning amongst motherhood and I was so unhappy. I wanted to love my life, but my brain and the enemy was slowly ripping my life away from me.

Through God’s grace and bitter, devastating circumstances that shifted my life forever, I learned to slow down. I realized that my highest calling wasn’t in checking off to-do lists, but in serving my family with love, raising my children in faith, and creating a home where Christ is at the center. I wanted to make sure I LIVED my life and that when I look back in 20-30 years, I will remember as much as possible and be filled with beautiful memories.

By divine blessing, and complete trust in God – now, my days are filled with the beauty of simple living— I homeschool my children, bake bread from scratch, grow food in our garden, and find joy and gratitude in even the little things.

Clinging to God’s Truth About Motherhood

Most days I still fall short and I still make mistakes. I am still imperfect and broken, but I have been healing over years now.

Through my journey, especially on very messy days, I’ve learned to hold on tightly to God’s truth about motherhood. The Bible offers tenderhearted reminders and verses that declare His faithfulness and the strength He provides us in our role as mothers:

Isaiah 40:11 – “He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young.” This verse reminded me that God gently leads mothers, providing guidance and care when we feel weak.
Psalm 127:3 – “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” On days when I felt unworthy or overwhelmed, this verse reassured me that my role as a mother is a divine calling.
2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When I felt like I wasn’t enough, I found peace in knowing that God’s grace would sustain me.
Proverbs 31:25 – “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” God gives us strength and dignity as mothers, equipping us to face each day with faith.

What you’ll see here on the blog…

Motherhood

I’m here to flip the script on motherhood. It is a beautiful thing and so many moms live as if their children are burdens, inconveniencing them and their own desires. I was once that mom, too. But I can’t watch other moms complain about their babies that they prayed for. I’m not here for it. I’m here for JOY and gratitude in motherhood.

Home everything

We’re a homey family. We LOVE being home and doing things at home. We homeschool, eat homemade foods most of the time and we’re on our beginning journeys of homesteading. I’ve been a homemaker for 15 years now and I believe that HOME truly is where the heart is. If you’re not in love with your home-life, it’s time to change it.

Family recipes

Whether it’s slow-cooked recipes that are flavorful and rich OR it’s a quick weeknight meal, I’ve cooked them all. Some days we need simple because our day is busy. But other days we can spend the time on a long-cooked meal that will fill our bellies and our hearts.
